Researches

The Student Support Centre is an organisation supporting education and research at the ELTE Faculty of Informatics. In our research we explore students’ success. To this end, we analyze psychological and academic data to support drop-out prevention. We use the data to develop our soft skill development courses and training.

Our team investigates students’ academic success, drop-out rates and their relationship with certain psychological factors.
Our analyses will allow us to identify points of intervention in student education that can increase student success, to identify correlations between certain psychological factors and student success, and to support the continuous improvement of our skills development courses for students. We can also use our studies to analyse the success of the interventions implemented.
The results of the research will be used by our team in other activities such as teaching, individual psychological counselling, trainings, and other activities.
